Jewelry Classes

Course objective:
Have you ever wanted to learn how to design and make jewelry? Then you need this class. In this class you will learn the basics of designing jewelry and how to use an acetylene torch to solder. You will also learn how to use a variety of tools and techniques to create one of a kind jewelry pieces. Yes, you will want to wear everything you make.
Beginners and advanced students sit side by side sharing ideas and encouragement. Demonstration of various construction processes will be performed according to individual student needs and request.
Beginning students learn by using copper and brass and can purchase silver to work with at any time from Rio Grande 1-800-545-6566.
Not sure what to make? Don't worry. I have lots of short projects to spark ideas and beginners learn quickly on "starter" projects to learn the basics.
Class fees cover instruction, gas, chemicals related to soldering, and use of studio hand tools and equipment.
Students provide their own metal, sand paper, solder (expendables)
